Our Services
Dog Size
We classify dogs based on standard sizing categories: Toy, Small, Medium.
Unfortunately we are currently not taking on any new Large, Extra Large or Giant dogs.
We will never classify a dog bigger than we should and we want to make our pricing as fair as possible for everyone.
Breed is a good indicator of size but dogs of the same breed can still cross size boundaries.

The following are examples of typical dog sizes, we will always amend the size on the day of the appointment as necessary:
Toy: Chihuahu, Pomeranian, Daschund
Small: Shih Tzu, Yorkie, Pug, Havanese
Medium: Cockapoo, Cocker Spaniel, English Bulldog
Recommended Grooming Frequency These are recommended durations between grooms based on our experience of different coat lengths in order to avoid matting and knotting (please note that this is not an exact science.)
Our Approach to Pricing is to be fair and transparent. When it comes to timings, dog grooming is not an exact science. The prices below are for a dog arriving in a typical pre-groom state. If the dog has a particularly thick coat, is heavily matted or knotted, or if the dog is particularly fidgety or anxious then the groom can take longer than anticipated.
For the extra time we charge an extra £15/half hour to try and minimise the additional cost for our customers. If assistance is required with any part of the groom this will also be charged at £15/half hour and can be the case if the dog is too anxious or fidgety for a groomer to hold. Assistance may also be required if the dog is aggressive.

Please note this package is designed for puppies from 3 months to 6 months old. Please note that a puppy groom does not include clipping or scissoring. As a best practice puppy's should not have their fur cut until 6 months old.

Emmi-Pet Teeth Cleaning
We offer Emmi-Pet Ultrasonic Teeth Cleaning to help keep your dogs teeth and gums clean and healthy. Book an initial consultation and we can advise on the best option for your dog.

De-Matting and Pre-Clipping
Please be aware that if your dogs coat is matted and/or contains knots then there may be an additional cost for the time and effort to de-tangle or, if necessary, pre-clip/shave the coat completely. We will always endeavour to save as much of the coat as possible but in some cases, particularly if this will cause distress to the dog, the best option might be to shave it off. We will of course discuss this with you prior to being undertaken.
